Simplant Software -- Dr. Johnson is now using the most advanced technology to determine if you are a candidate for Dental Implants. A computer software program, SIMPLANT, allows evaluation of a CT scan of the jaws, measuring height and width of the jawbone, as well as density. The determination of the feasibility and placement of implants is now much more accurate than the use of a panorex radiograph. Visit SIMPLANT on the Web at:
Dr. Johnson has just returned from the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dentistry in Key Biscayne, Florida. This week long session (Level 6) is currently the 6th and last level of advanced continuing education provided by the Institute. Topics included restoration of difficult situations including severe wear, periodontally involved cases, uneven bite (occlusion), with and without the use of dental implants.
The RLDC is using the most recent and state of the art dental implants made by BioHorizons. These have been research and developed over many years by Dr. Johnson's mentor, Dr. Carl Misch, a leader, master and author in the field of implant dentistry.
